These Hoyas are often grown in hanging baskets/planters as their thin vines cannot support their thick, waxy, succulent leaves. Leaves can have a deep bronze red/l to deep purple if sun-stressed. This species - like all other Hoyas - produces scented, clustered, star-shaped yellow/orange flowers once the plant reaches maturity and if other environmental factors allow.
