FAQ's

1. What should I expect? Expect that all plants are different, some do better than others in shipping. Some are divas and will be stressed and may take some time to get acclimated to its new environment. Please do some research on your plants and be ready for it once it arrives, different plants have different needs. Expect slight damages from shipment. We pack our plants with hugs and kisses before sending it off, but once it leaves our hands, all we can do is pray. All our plants come with a short and concise care card, however, if you are entirely new to plants, it is highly recommended that you scan the QR code on the card to access the plant's care detailed care guide online. 

2. What to do and NOT to do upon receiving? Please DO NOT re-pot your plant for at least 30 days after receiving. This is to ensure the plant does not undergo too much stress. Please DO plan to be at home when your plant arrives. A nice warm greeting is a great start to a healthy plant parenthood. Please INSPECT the packaging for physical damages. I would recommend that you start taking photos/videos for proof if the outside of the packaging shows signs of damages. This is to help us file a claim to the courier. Continue to record the unboxing, this will help improve our quality control on shipment if necessary. These videos/images may be requested if you are requesting a refund/exchange.

3. Are care instructions provided? Yes! We provide a short and concise instruction card with every plant purchased but the card will also have a QR code that will lead you to a more detailed guide online. We want you to succeed in every way because we love and cherish the plants we sell! Please be sure to read the online version if you are a newbie to plants! Understanding your plants' basic needs will help both of you grow happily together. Please note that the instruction card is for indoor plant care. You can always send us a message with any questions. A few “limited edition” plants (mainly outdoor plants) may not come with a care card/care guide (stated in the description of product). However, feel free to reach out to us to troubleshoot  

4. Will my plant come as pictured? Please understand that no two plants are alike. You will receive the plant pictured IF and ONLY IF we have only 1 in stock of that particular plant and it is noted in the description of the product that you will receive that plant. You can also request a picture of the product before your purchase. 

5. Why do you limit the quantity ordered on a specific plant? Due to high demands, we would like as many people to get one before anyone gets a second. Sorry for the inconvenience! 

6. I'm local, can I come pick up my plant? Due to Covid we are not allowing pick up but we do offer free local deliveries to our customers that are within our traveling zip codes. If you are outside our zip codes, our drivers can meet you at a designated location within those zip codes. Payments must be cleared in advance. 

7. How long will it take to receive my plants? We aim to get your orders out the next business day if ordered before 5 PM. We ship 4 days a week, Monday - Thursday, in order to avoid plants spending the weekends at the postal office. They don't like it there. For locals, please allow us 2-3 business days to deliver. 

8. Do you accept returns? We'll happily accept returns for either a refund/return or an exchange if you are unhappy with your plant purchase. However, shipping will be at your cost. Shipping cost will not be refunded. Request must be completed within 24 hours of delivery. Please take photos upon opening as those photos may be requested as proof that plant is damaged upon receiving. 

9. Are you a certified retail nursery or an enthusiast selling plants for fun? We are BOTH! What started out as a hobby, dreaming one day to own a nursery is now becoming a reality! We are a certified! We hope one day to open our own physical indoor nursery to be able to meet and greet our local customers, but for now we can only extend our appreciation virtually and through the love we put into each plant that we deliver. 

10. Why Happy Sunrize's plants? All the plants we sell are maintained in our homes. This is to minimize delivering a plant that is pest infested to our customers. Also, it is to minimize the stress when it is purchased, moving from one home to another home is easier than from a nursery to a home. They are basically our foster kids that are awaiting your adoption! 

11. Sunrize Shop+ Accessories.  We especially designed these items for you. However, the product will be printed per order and will be fulfilled from our partnered printing companies. The packaging you will receive, may or may not indicate that it is from Happy Sunrize. 

12. Disclaimer for TRUE COLORS on products. Actual product color may vary from the images shown. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.
