Also known as Hoya Hindu Rope or Rope Hoya. The leaves are curled as they grow on their vines, giving a unique rope appearance. They are often grown in hanging baskets/planters to showcase their "roped" vines draping downwards. This species - like all other Hoyas - produces scented, clustered, star-shaped flowers once the plant reaches maturity and if other environmental factors allow. The variegated version has white edges and may produce all white/pinkish leaves. The variegated version grows much slower and is not as commonly found. Please note that each variegated plant is unique, the amount of white leaves may differ from those in pictures.
