This beauty is a show stopper with its unique deep purple cross-shape in the center of the foliage, hence their name Iron Cross. They are considered shade plants outdoors, therefore making them excellent indoor plants as they love to stay between 60-80 degrees. Their dainty pink flowers are a plus! Just as any variety of shamrocks, they represent the spring season and are believed to bring good luck.
This plant comes back to life even if you’ve forgot to water it for months and it seemed wilted and “dead”. In reality, it stores its energy in its bulb and it will come back to life quickly once the right conditions are restored. (More light and meeting their watering needs.)

Water: Indoor: every 4-5 days with an 8 oz cup of water or when top of soil looks dry. Outdoor: keep moist. Do not allow it to dry out completely.
