This popular variety is popular for many fun(ky) reasons. Their foliage is soft and looks delicate like lace hence they are known as lace ferns. However, they are not a fern at all, but instead related to the asparagus you (maybe) growing in your garden! Hence they are also known as Plumosa Asparagus Fern. But these are NOT edible! They can grow upright and climb or top over when branches are heavy, and hang. They can grow to 10-20 feet tall/long! As delicate as they may seem, they are easy to care for!
